Consultant With Local Authorities About The Feasibility Of Project At Nam Giang District, Quang Nam Province

On 19th January 2018, a consultation meeting about the feasibility of project funded by USAID was organized between Micro – finance & Community Development Institute (MACDI), Nam Giang Community People District (CPD) and representative of USAID. The aim of this meeting was consultant the feasibility of the project to improve the local livelihood and biodiversity protection in Nam Giang District, Quang Nam provinces. Attending the meeting, representative of Nam Giang CPD, the functional agency in the District and President of Dakpree and ChaVal commune as well.

At the meeting, Mrs.Thai – Director of MACDI had quickly introduced about the MACDI and relevant projects had implemented before then the project team also presented the objectives and project activities. After sharing the project information, MACDI had got many feedbacks from the delegates about the project activities as well as the project methods approach.

In the afternoon, MACDI team also went to two communes to talk with local authorities and local people about the tentative project activities in the coming time. After the project sharing, local people were very happy and willing to participate the project. Besides, MACDI also received some comments from their about the benefits from the project and challenges when projects will be implemented in the futures.

Ending a consultant meeting, MACDI will adjust some points in the proposal to fit the current condition of locally. Hopefully, this project will be implemented to improve local livelihood and biodiversity projection in Quang Nam provinces.
